Background
The idea for Posterum® was born in full Covid-19 pandemic period, at a time when mortality was above average and unprecedented restrictions on freedom of movement were deployed. In 2023, after painstaking design, planning and implementation work, we created the Swiss start-up MediaProgress Ltd and with it a communication tool with international reach. Consisting of an Internet portal (www.posterum.info and/or www.posterum.rip) and an application for smartphones, it allows the publication of innovative and interactive funeral announcements, with audio and video recordings, condolences messages, sending flowers, donations, personalised notifications, etc.: all contents that, optimised thanks to state-of-the-art technology, generate a rewarding and easily accessible sharing experience.
Posterum® was developed for both funeral professionals (B2B) and the general public (B2C). It has interfaces adapted to each type of user, consisting in a web-editor for funeral services, a website (web-reader) and an Android or iOS app that can be downloaded free of charge from the major online platforms (GooglePlay/AppStore).
With this initiative, we want to bring a useful service to society, which is why - in addition to continuing to optimise our products and services - we will donate at least three per cent of the revenues generated by Posterum® to a non-profit NGO, selected at the end of each accounting year.
